Sir Ervin Williams III was born in Saint Louis MO., on September 19. Ervin Williams majored in Secondary Education with a Minor in English and Theater. He is the proud son of Marcella Calvin and Ervin Williams Jr. As an actor, and a poet, he has developed his craft immensely. Play credit's include Fences (2005), Shaking the Devil Off (2005),A Raisin in the Sun (2005), Knock Me a Kiss (2006), The Face of Emmit Till (2007),The Bluest Eye (2008) The Meeting(2010) Dracula (2010), Street Life (2011), Meeting at the Elders Circle (2005-2010) Tambourines to Glory (2011). Sir Ervin Williams III has been the keynote speaker at many national conventions, and has developed creative writing workshops for educational programs throughout the United States. He’s also trained students on how to develop their craft, networks, and critical thinking skills. He is currently a teacher with the St. Louis Public Schools. Sir Ervin Williams, Movie credits include several independent films. Peaces of a Dream (2004), The Vile (2004), The Masterpiece (2004), Touched (2005), The Soul of a Man (2006), Office Business (2008), and also directed his first Children’s Television show “The Learning Express” (2009) . Sir Ervin has also written, directed, and produced his first play entitled “Zella” (2011) that was featured at the Missouri History Museum. He can be seen in “The Messengers” (2014-2015)Sir Ervin, is in the process of publishing his first book of poetry entitled "Mr. Duplicity (The Different Ones)" which will give an insight to the many obstacles he had to overcome, by being raised in St. Louis inner-city.
